boat sofa / table

Sofa set for "boat," a design office.
With a boat floating on a lake as a motif, we mixed different materials,
all the while highlighting the brusqueness of iron, and sought to achieve a visible lightness.
Teak, which has been used since ancient times as a material for boats,
was used for the wood part to give the sofa some substance as a backdrop.

Sofa: Iron, leather, teak
Table: Iron, glass

デザイン事務所「boat」のためのソファーセット。
湖上に浮かぶボートをモチーフに、 鉄の無骨さを前面に出しながらも異素材をミックスし、視覚的な軽やかさを追求。
木部には古来よりボートの材料とされたチークを使用し、背景としての厚みをもたせた。
